Representative Joe E. Moreno passed away, Friday, May 6, 2005, in an early morning traffic accident.
Visitation is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2005, at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral, 1111 Pierce Street, Houston, Texas 77002, telephone number 713/659-1561. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m.
A public viewing starting at 8:30 a.m. will precede the funeral mass scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at the Houston Catholic Charismatic Center, 1949 Cullen Boulevard at Interstate 45 South (Gulf Freeway), Houston, Texas 77023, telephone number 713/236-9977.
Interment will take place at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at the Texas State Cemetery, 909 Navasota, Austin, Texas 78702, telephone number 512/463-0605.
Condolences may be sent to Representative Moreno's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moreno, in care of Earthman Funeral Home, 2420 Fannin, Houston, Texas 77002.
